Last seconds: Part II.

Down by one to arch-rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, freshman guard Kyle McAndrews drives to the basket to put the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens ahead.

CMS answered with a three-pointer, putting them ahead by two. McAndrews is fouled shooting a three-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining in the game.

The freshman sinks all three free throws, sealing the win--and home court advantage in the SCIAC tournament--for Pomona-Pitzer. Full report here.

Fireworks as art.

Apparently, people like me ruined (or at least changed) Performance at Pomona, a series of three recreations of performance art from 1970-71.
